Biography: Sophie Adam earned a BA in interpretation and a BA in translation from the University of Mons-Hainaut (Belgium), and a Master in Development Management from the University of Liege (Belgium).She worked as a researcher and editorial assistant for the Centre of Social Economy from 1998 to 2005. She then worked as an editorial assistant and web manager for the EMES European Research Network, from 2005 to 2012. She also provided organisational support for the Network's research and teaching activities (conferences, summer schools ) and for its communication and dissemination activities (within the framework of the various research projects carried on). Since October 2012, she has worked as the Coordination Assistant of the IAP-SOCENT project, which is spearheaded by the Centre for Social Economy (HEC-ULiège) and carried out in cooperation with research teams from three other universities.
